Meaningful integration of yoga and mindfulness into your day has the ability to transform the school experience in a vast array of positive ways. These outcomes can impact students, staff and families alike.

Noticing
The focus of this March’s yoga and mindfulness practices and resources revolve around the theme of Noticing. The mindful breath practice the Alternate Nostril Breath, invites you to notice the distinct differences in which you experience the breath as it moves from one nostril to the other. These differences may be small or large and can differ throughout your day. The accompanying yoga practice the Body Scan is a powerful practice anchored around noticing the sensations you feel along different parts of your body. The Body Scan is an opportunity to use this focused attention to bring extra breath and extra relaxation to those parts that need it the most and serves as an additional tool to help build body awareness and presence.
